"Klenovy Boulevard" Station is located close to the picturesque area of the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve.
Rich cultural context of the area forms the colorful and recognizable image of the untouched natural landscape that stretches along the banks of the Moscow-river, with the iconic architectural monuments of Russian wooden and stone architecture, located on it. As a simbolic figure of the entire ensemble stands the Palace of Alexei Mikhailovich, the characteristic silhouette of which becomes a conventional sign for the object itself and for the entire surrounding area.
Clean, calm and laconic image of the station's interior space is focused on the transfer of the key, landmark character of the area. Ceiling vault sculpture sets recognizable silhouette, typical for traditional elements of Russian architecture, visually doubling in the mirror the part of walls. Monochrome and texture purity in decoration is intended to emphasize the self-sufficiency of the characteristic element of the platform.
Architecture of above-ground vestibule is formed by the modern interpretation of silhouettes of Kolomenskoye. Soft forms of domes reflected in the entrance group of Station, and metal perforation with illumination adds airiness to the whole structure and smoothly turns into the finish of ceiling of the underground lobby.
Image of the new metro station laconically expresses proximity to the famous object of cultural heritage and recognizable silhouettes guides us in the urban space.
